The point of Rundello

Validated the moment it lands. Reported live.

Every value is checked against the asset owner's standard as soon as it arrives: mandatory fields, formats, allowed values, relationships. Quality and completeness reports update as the work happens, so nobody finds out at handover.

  • Instant validation against AMDS, KiwiRail, or your client's own standard.
  • Live quality and completeness, by asset class, by model, by contributor.
  • Brian helps classify and validate. Every accepted value records who approved it, and when.

How it works

Whatever package it was made in, one standard on the way out.

Designers draw in OpenRoads, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp or 12d. Contractors deliver as-builts as DWG and IFC. Surveyors send CSV. Rundello reads all of it natively, classifies it, helps you populate it, and validates it against the client's standard.

The asset ID is the glue. Rundello fingerprints every object, so it survives a re-import and keeps its classification and staged data, revision after revision, while the standard is scored live the whole way.

Set it once. Every object gets it.

Bulk fields are values a project admin sets once for a whole project, one asset class or one asset type. Every object in scope shows the value, objects edited individually keep their own, and Brian will tell you which scope a field applies to.

  • Mandatory, conditional and optional fields from the standard itself.
  • Values, notes and the objects each one applies to, in one table.

Why it exists

Asset data still runs on stitched-together workflows.

CAD, GIS and model review tools are good at what they were built for. None of them were built to help a person populate and validate asset data. So every team stitches its own chain together: export, fill a spreadsheet, import, convert, and do it all again at the next revision.

Who it's for

Built for the way your contract works.

Owners, designers and contractors can work in Rundello together, or each on their own. Every party gets the view its job needs, with the same standard underneath.

Designers

Your design arrives as you drew it.

Roads, drainage and bridges get drawn in half a dozen packages. Bring every model into one place and create the design side of the asset data, like design life, where it can actually be checked instead of staying locked in a model.

  • Design attributes populated in one platform, from any package.
  • As-built against design, within tolerance, reported live.next

Classify, populate with bulk fields, and validate against the standard the moment your as-built lands. Re-import a revision and Rundello still knows which object is which.

Surveyors future

Raw survey in. Finished linework out.

Survey data arrives exploded on layer zero more often than anyone admits, and someone in the digital engineering team cleans it by hand. Rundello will ingest survey data, string it and validate it against the survey standard before hand-off.

Who built it

Built by digital engineers for infrastructure delivery in New Zealand and Australia.

More than 25 years in New Zealand design and construction went into a platform hand made for delivering digital outputs and asset data. The real cost of capital construction isn't the build, it's the data and handover information that keeps an asset running. Faster for the people producing it. Better for the owners who operate and maintain what was built.
